Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Zinn Guard Discord bot and its associated web dashboard (together, the "Service"), operated by OVP Digital ("we", "us"). By adding the bot to a Discord server, signing in to the web dashboard, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

Zinn Guard is an automatic moderation bot for Discord. Its main function is to automatically ban users who leave a server, according to rules configured by that server's administrator. The web dashboard lets server administrators configure these rules and review a log of the bot's actions.

2. Who can use the Service

The Service is available only to users who comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Discord's Community Guidelines, including Discord's minimum age requirement. Only users with the "Manage Server" permission on a given server can configure the bot's settings for that server through the web dashboard.

3. Bot permissions

To operate, the bot requires the Ban Members permission on the server it is added to, and optionally the View Audit Log permission if the administrator enables "voluntary leave only" mode. Each server's administrator is responsible for deciding whether to grant these permissions and for configuring the auto-ban rules applied on their server.

4. Server administrator responsibility

Each server's administrator is solely responsible for how they configure the Service on their server (for example, enabling or disabling auto-ban, or choosing its mode of operation). We are not responsible for the consequences of a server administrator's configuration of the Service, including users being banned as a result of the rules they enabled.

5. Availability of the Service

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without prior notice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OVP Digital will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to users being banned in error or interruptions in the bot's operation.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server and/or logging out of the web dashboard. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service for any user or server that violates these Terms or Discord's Terms of Service.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page, with the "last updated" date revised accordingly. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
